Six people were injured in a five-vehicle crash on U.S. 136 in the rural areas of Penfield on May 30, according to authorities.
All of the vehicles were heading east on 136 when, about half a mile from County Road 2700E, there was a slow down in traffic due to a field fire that had restricted the visibility of the road.
There has not been an exact cause of the accident released but the low visibility is said to be the reason for the car pile-up. The extent of injuries was also not released at this time.
