Simulated car crash imparts lesson to students

The Emergency Medical Services group of Western Illinois University simulated a drunk driving crash to impart a lesson to high school students about the risk of drunk driving, wgem.com reported on April 29.

In the mock driving crash performed on April 28, two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision in which one individual was killed after being ejected from the vehicle and hit by another vehicle driven by a drunk driver and at least three individuals were trapped inside the vehicle. Students from Macomb High were used in the crash simulation to hopefully have an impact on other teenagers. David Mitchell said the mock drunk driving crash imparted a message to everyone to not drink and drive and to always fasten their seat belts.

Victims of drunk drivers often sustain serious or even fatal injuries that can result in heavy financial losses. If you or someone you love has been the victim of a drunk driver in Danville, a lawyer from Spiros Law, P.C., may be able to help you take legal action against the responsible party.
