According to the police report, the man was speeding on his motorcycle going 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. He then turned and crossed the center line and sped away as police tried to stop him. The chase then continued for quite some time reaching speeds of 115 mph. The man then failed to negotiate a curve at the speed he was traveling and he crashed into a cornfield.
