A car accident left one Danville man dean and one teen injured.
The 39-year-old man was driving his van when he collided with a sports utility vehicle. The SUV was driven by a 15-year-old teenage female of Hooperston. The accident occurred on May 26 north of Hooperston in Iroquois County. The current condition of the teen is known and an investigation into the accident is underway.

A 17-year old girl from Chicago was struck and killed by a van driven by an 86-year old Illinois man on Wednesday. The teen was on a biking trip through southern Illinois when the van apparently crossed the center line and struck the teen and her friends. Two others were injured in the accident and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
