An Ohio manufacturer, Smith Dairy Products, has recalled a line of smoothies after a routine taste-testing determined that the product may contain undeclared nuts.
F’real brand Strawberry Banana Smoothies may contain peanuts and could cause a person who is allergic to them to go into anaphylactic shock. Roughly two percent of American suffer from this allergen.
The product was recalled in 33 states including Arkansas, California, Illinois, New York and Ohio. Consumers who have purchased this product should return it for a full refund.
