Danville pedestrian dies as a result of car accident

A pedestrian accident that took place last Thursday night outside of Danville has left one pedestrian dead.

The accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. 150 and Henning Road. A Danville man was eastbound on U.S. 150 when he claims that a pedestrian ran out in front of his pick-up truck. A police officer that was stationed at the intersection corroborates the pick-up driver’s story.

According to reports, the vehicle was not traveling at excessive speeds when the pedestrian accident took place. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries, and was pronounced dead at the hospital early Friday morning. The accident is still being investigated at this time.
